Dr Ahmad is a founding member of The Mediation Hub. He is an independent mediator, and currently serves as the disputes chief at the Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai. Previously, Dr. Ahmad held an academic position at the Masdar Institute (now Khalifa University) and played development management roles at Wasl Assets Management and Dubai Municipality. He was also seconded to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MA, US, as a course instructor, sharing his insights on sustainable cities and renewable energy in hot climates. His expertise extends to the use of ADR in complex construction and investment, energy and technology disputes. 

Dr. Ahmad holds a master's degree in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution, a PhD in Interdisciplinary Engineering with a focus on commercial arbitration, an MBA with a concentration in Finance, and an M.Sc. in Civil Engineering. He has contributed to various scientific journals and serves as a reviewer for numerous law and construction management publications, including ASCE LADR and Conflict Resolution Quarterly.
