Judge Ahmed Abo Zeid

Justice.Ahmed M. Abo Zeid (Egypt):

He currently serves as a Judge at Ras Al-Khaimah Court of Cassation, UAE.
Justice Abo Zeid was a member of the Technical Committee at the Federal Ministry of Justice, UAE in charge of drafting Federal Bill No. (6) of 2021 on Mediation for the Settlement of civil and commercial disputes in UAE and amending some provisions of Federal Law No. (17) of 2016 Establishing Conciliation and Reconciliation Centers in Civil and Commercial Disputes.

Served as Vice President of the Egyptian Court of Cassation, the Supreme Court in Egypt, and as Head of the International Relations Department of the Court.

Senior Fellow to Weinstein International Foundation (WIF), since 2013. He has an extensive experience in the fields of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), He is an Independent Arbitrator, Mediator. Also, has an extensive experience in Criminal Justice, Trial Advocacy, and Commercial Disputes, Bankruptcy as a Public Prosecutor, and a Judge.

He was the official Mediation Instructor for the ABA- Rule of Law Initiative in Egypt and led a series of workshops designed for Training Egyptian judges at the National Center for Judicial Studies, Egypt in cooperation with Judges and Mediators from the U.S & Europe.

In addition, he holds master’s degree in Commercial law, and attends several training Courses at U.S & Europe.
