Mohammed Bayad

Mohammed is a professional architect who earned a BSc in 1999 and an MSc in Urban Design in 2001. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Builders (ACIOB), and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technology (ACIAT). He holds certificates in Negotiation Mastery and Organizational Leadership Management from Harvard Business School, as well as a Claims Preparation and Dispute Management Certificate from the College of Contract Management in the UK and a Contract Administration Master Class certificate from the DRSAM Institute in Dubai. He is also awaiting accreditation as a mediator from CIArb. Currently, Mohammed serves as the Director of Procurement and Contracts for the Government of Dubai, UAE, and is the Managing Director of Mediation Unlimited Engineering Consultancy Services, specializing in contract management, dispute resolution, quantity surveying, and cost control for construction projects. With over 24 years of experience in tendering, contracts, and dispute management within the construction sector, he has developed strong expertise in contract administration and construction law. His extensive experience includes dispute resolution through negotiation, conciliation, neutral evaluation, and mediation. Mohammed has also contributed several articles to Construction Week and The Jurist, emphasizing the collaboration between legal and technical expertise in resolving construction disputes.
