Rafat Isweilih is a senior construction professional and dispute resolution specialist with over 30 years of experience in the UAE. During this period, he has delivered diverse construction mega projects and has successfully resolved/participated in resolving complex construction disputes.

He is an Accredited Evaluative Mediator by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) with a BSc in civil engineering, a university diploma in international construction contracts. Besides, he is a FIDIC Certified Contract Manager, a RICS, Chartered Quantity Surveyor, and a Certified Quantity Surveyor by the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS). He is a member of RICS, AIQS and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).

Besides mediation, he is a practitioner of other dispute resolution techniques including adjudication, arbitration, and litigation support. He speaks Arabic (native) and English (fluent) and has an outstanding negotiation skills.
